New Jersey Rest Area Locations

New Jersey rest areas are typically roadside facilities that provide, parking at a minimum. Although some may have picnic areas and so much more. They are mainly maintained by the New Jersey Department of Transportation. Some may be closed due to maintenance issues, its always best to have an alternate rest stop just in case.

Interstate 78 (I-78) is an east–west route that runs through several states. It starts in Pennsylvania and ends in New York City. The highway is also known as the Phillipsburg–Newark Expressway and the Newark Bay–Hudson County, An extension of the New Jersey Turnpike, which has two waysides near mile marker 8.

Interstate I-295 NJ Rest Areas

The New Jersey’s north-south Interstate 295 (I-295) runs from the Pennsylvania border at U.S. Route 1 and U.S. Route 30 in the vicinity of the Delaware River to I-80 near Trenton, with access to one Visitor Center and two scenic overlook rest areas.

New Jersey Turnpike

The New Jersey Turnpike is a toll road in the U.S. state of New Jersey. It connects Atlantic City and Trenton, with the Garden State Parkway, Route 80, and Route 130 in northern New Jersey.
